Where's Scruffy

Well mostly he sleeps as he is an older cat now adays. Whats funny is that when he sleeps he likes to do the superman pose, which you can see opposite with his little paws out in front.

He does get let out from time to time and he is like a dog as I normally walk him around the garden.

When he lived at my wifes house before we got married he had his own cat flap and there used to be a lake behind the house which he frequented. He was such a naughty boy though as he often caught ducks and moor hens. He now lives in a flat and only goes out when we let him. He seems quite happy with that although he can be a pain sometimes when he keeps coming in and out.

He enjoys his scratching pole and can be seen on it quite regularly. When he comes in from the garden he always wipes his paws on the pole.

He loves his scratching pole, walking around the garden, watching Channel 4's horse racing, felix and of course his cuddles with me.

He was originally given to my wife by a close friend as a birthday present in 1994. That makes him 9 years old.

Originally his name was 'Darling', but due to my wifes father insisting that he wasnt going to go out in the garden and call "Darling, time to come in", he was renamed 'Scruffy'.

Some of the reasoning behind the new name of Scruffy is that when he eats his food, he gets it all around his mouth and looks very scruffy.

Well he prefers Felix to any other brand, we did try him on IAMs but he wasnt too keen.

He likes Felix in both the foils and the tins although myself prefer to give him the tins as they are better on my pocket.

He also likes the odd bit of chineese takeaway or fresh fish cooked by us.
